The Data Analytics Manager supports global technical risk management and fit for purpose quality and food safety governance, impacting and influencing (through data intelligence and analytics) the performance & progress of our QSE (Quality, Safety and Environment) governance framework across the entire global Coca-Cola system. This role is responsible for enabling our data analytics strategies and supporting capabilities in the areas of Quality & Food Safety, Workplace Safety, and Environmental Sustainability.
This role can be located anywhere globally.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide advanced data analytical competencies needed within QSE (Quality, Safety and Environment) to understand business risk, enabling a dynamic approach to protect and create value amid uncertainty
- Analyze global patterns and trends, raise the flag where global QSE mitigation plans are needed to be put in place
- Integrate data intelligence with people, processes (systems), and tools to increase information available for improved decision making end-to-end within the networked organization
- Evaluate information from different sources to predict and prevent QSE incidents
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) contributor within the networked organization. The role includes the functional areas of: Technical Risk Management Framework (TRMF), KORE standards and requirements, fit for purpose governance; data analytics, pattern and risk intelligence and analysis, mitigation plans, trend analysis, orchestration of global mitigation programs
- Use advanced analytical skills (statistical analysis, mathematical modelling, correlation studies, etc.) to create a greater understanding of risk and opportunity that exists within the Coca-Cola system related to QSE performance
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and other internal/external risk experts to define and evaluate risks
- In collaboration with Corporate Enterprise Risk Management team, ensure technical risk models support the enterprise Risk Policy and are updated based on the Company’s evolving needs
- Provide virtual and direct consulting support to Operating Units around the world to establish effective risk management assessments, risk tracking, and risk mitigation programs
- Accountable and responsible for technical training content related to data supporting Technical risk management and risk analysis in QSE
- Collaborate internally, with academic institutions and with external bodies, to ensure ideas remain current and reflect the latest thinking in this area of expertise
- Sustain the central structured QSE risk management systems and programs
Work Focus:
- Creates, maintains and enables the data analytical capabilities of the QSE organization, allowing for greater visibility and understanding of risk & compliance within the system, lead to more effective decision making and initiative planning across the networked organization.
- Emerging and extended QSE risks are proactively flagged and consistently communicated and mitigated.
- Develops and delivers the next level analytical and risk intelligence capabilities.
- Connects strategically with external and internal networks and stakeholders to drive risk intelligence mindset and capabilities.
Communication Focus:
- Work across multiple internal functions and networks including Enterprise risk management, Operating units, Scientific and regulatory affairs, Analytical services laboratories, supply chain, public affairs, New Ventures, and platform services.
- Provides the tools and analysis needed for networked teams to make critical business decisions based on Risk intelligence and QSE analytics.
- Communicates QSE technical risk results, trends and alerts across the entire Technical Innovation and Supply Chain (TI&SC) function, as well as QSE leadership across all areas of the organization.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience in conducting risk intelligence / advanced analytics e.g. statistical process capabilities, data analytics, statistics, correlation studies
- 5+ years’ of experience in related technical, finance, ERM or operations experience
- Ideally has good understanding of technical principles of quality/food safety (statistical process control, process capability, process validation, cost of quality), occupational health and safety (risk prevention, risk exposure/risk prevention) and/or environmental sustainability.
- Proven track record in successful contribution of risk intelligence transformation programs, including change management. Proven successful track record in influencing and working with diverse, global teams.
