This position is in charge to provide support to the Credit & Collections Manager and Finance Director on questions and issues related to Credit and Collection and participating in financing evaluation task as required, driving and ensuring policy compliance and leads company related projects for Credit and Control and due receivables. Scope of the role entails solid leadership skills and that the candidate should be a Business Expert (BEX) and support for the Credit & Collection area.
The position is based in Polanco, Mexico City, Mexico.
Position requires travelling 10% to 20% of the time to customer sites as the need arises.
Tetra Pak could sponsor work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Credit & Collections Supervisor you will:
- Secure global policy and reporting compliance for Credit and Collection for geographical scope.
- Cluster expert on issue resolution for Credit and Control related.
- Follow up consolidated Accounts Receivable including aging and due for cluster or group of companies.
- Analyze and conclude A/R and collection status to identify continuous improvement.
- Initiate and implement improvements and being an active part in global projects.
- Support in dispute management.
- Make independent analysis and prepare decision support packs for management.
Who you are
We believe you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance and Business Administration and/or related fields will be highly valued. Desirable to have a Masters Degree in related areas.
- Experience of 5 to 7 years in Credit & Collections area, and 2 to 3 years as Area Supervisor or Coordinator in a worldwide company, doing similar functions.
- Experience having good control on the collection accounts, with strong knowledge of credit & collections to be the support with complex problem solving. Strong knowledge & experience with the credit & collection operations, systems, business and customers.
- Strong SAP knowledge.
- Strong Excel knowledge, be able to manage dynamic tables, graphics, functions, formulas & macros.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
