We are recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer colleague, for installation of complex and automated Ice Cream facilities at our global customers.
Our Installation & Commissioning team consists of 24 colleagues responsible for installation, commissioning and service of process equipment in Ice Cream facilities all over the world.
Since most of our production is exported to our customers all over the world, you will travel intensively including both shorter and longer trips. You can expect approx. 180-200 travelling days per year.
The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.
What You Will Do
As part of the team you will primarily spend your time conducting:
- Supervision of installation and commissioning of new machines and lines
- Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting on existing machines and lines
- Training customer machine operators and maintenance staff in Tetra Pak Ice Cream process equipment.
- Provide advice regarding optimization of our customer´s existing lines.
You will work in close collaboration with your Danish colleagues, i.e. mechanical designers and project managers both during test of new equipment before shipping and in the commissioning phase, as well as connected to development and optimization of equipment. You will gain a broad international network since you will work closely to the Tetra Pak global Market Company Technical Service Organisation in 70 different countries.
Who You Are
You have a broad practical background and a formal education as Marine Engineer, or similar technical background, and preferably a few years of professional experience.
With a natural interest for mechanics and knowledge of PLC programming and software in general, you will quickly gain an overview of complex automated process equipment for the Food Industry.
Good general IT skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
Independent, service minded and intercultural understanding.
You have the ability to build good relations with the customer and are able to understand their needs and act accordingly. You enjoy collaborating with others but also possess the ability to keep a helicopter perspective and be able to distribute the workload.
You possess great intercultural understanding with the will and interest to travel all over the world. You are an engaged and service minded professional that enjoys working independently. You are decisive and thorough, making sure all the details are in place, but at the same time able to see the larger context.
