Your new tasks – Exciting and future oriented
- Drawing: Analyse and prepare Architectural drawings, Combined Service Drawings (CSDs), and Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs). Implement necessary changes based on Telecom system equipment requirements.
- Cable Containment Design: Design and implement cable containment solutions with E&M as per equipment specifications.
- Design Development: Develop fresh drawings/designs and support the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for VTS &Telecom sub-systems, contributing to project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Site Coordination: Collaborate with the site team for installation, testing, commissioning, and updates to As-built drawings, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- GAP Analysis: Conduct thorough GAP analysis with respect to tender drawings and project drawings, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
- 2D and 3D Modeling: Develop and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar.
- Technical Specifications: Interpret technical specifications, design inputs, and engineering instructions to create detailed layouts.
- Assembly and Fabrication Drawings: Prepare assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, quality) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Tolerance Analysis: Perform tolerance analysis and ensure GD&T compliance.
- Design Reviews: Conduct design reviews and implement feedback.
- CAD Libraries: Maintain and organize CAD libraries and drawing databases.
- Prototype Development: Support prototype development and resolve design-related issues during production.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry and company design standards and practices.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with advancements in CAD software and engineering design practices.
Your qualification – Well-grounded and adequate
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Design Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a CAD engineering role.
- Proficiency in one or more CAD tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Revit, etc.
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
