C=Store Account Manager is responsible for relationships and sales of the full line of Nestlé Professional products to key C-Store operators and distributors. Reporting to the Sales Director, the location of this role is flexible with the Central US being the preferred geographic area. This position is part of a National team focused on our C-Store business.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Call on key C-Store accounts and distributors. This includes National and Regional C-store operators as well as reaching independent C_store operators through our route to market.
- Maintain and service our existing business as well as generate incremental sales on our full product line within key operators and distributors.
- Successfully implement new product introductions into the sales territory.
- Support channel trade shows necessary to support the business
- Develop strong customer relationships with all key customer personnel.
- Collaborate internally with culinary support and marketing to deliver solutions to the C-store channel.
Sales Administration
- Develop and maintain account profiles and plans for assigned accounts.
- Prepare monthly activity reports (sales -CSC and trade-Exceedra related).
- Follow all policies and procedures.
Job Accountabilities
- Meet established sales, trade spend and product placement targets.
- Deliver new business dollar target.
- Maintain a mentality where one is always searching for new customer and product opportunities.
- Update all applicable team members on activity and new product placements.
Requirements:
- 4 year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 3 year’s experience selling food products – FoodServices and Retail channels (highly preferred).
- Travel Required – up to 35% overnight.

- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven verbal and written fluency. Ability to communicate at all levels throughout the organization.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- C-Store channel insights and knowledge of retail data analysis.
- Financial acumen.
- Strong work ethic/self-starter – high level of motivation.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
