Business Controller
This person will be responsible for the financial controlling activities for multiple Business Streams
The position is based in Winsted, MN
This position reports to the Financial Manager
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Business Controller you will:
- Prepare, review, and analyze SG&A reports for all business streams
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries for submission to Finance Hub
- Review and maintain GL accounts to ensure correct profit center accounting
- Play a key role in the standardized monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting
- Investigate and explain differences in actual vs. planned or forecasted results
- Prepare for and participate in external and internal audits
- Maximize use of the ERP system to streamline reporting and analysis
- Prepare monthly Canadian tax requests
- Ensure proper sales and use tax reporting
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets
- Inventory cycle count Audits – quarterly
- Play a key role in Investments/Divestments of the entity
- Business Partner with Purchasing Department to manage payables
- Undertake any other projects as assigned by Finance Manager
Who you are
We believe you have:
- Bachelor´s degree (MA, MBA or equivalent) in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related
- 2-3 years Accounting experience (Plant and Business)
- Expertise in Stakeholder management
- Advanced English proficiency
- Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI and SAP R/3
- WCM (World Class Manufacture) knowledge and experience are considered a strong plus.
