Main responsibilities and tasks are:
- Setting up and maintenance of the Sales and Product Configuration Models (New Equipment, Tooling and Service) while keeping automation in mind (ETO à CTO).
- Alignment between different departments that are using the Sales and Product configuration models.
- Translate a technical checklist into a Sales and Product Configuration Model
* Questions and answers need to fit together.
* The look and feel in the quotation must be commercial.
* Dependencies need to be set-up (if/then else statements). - Be able to look beyond the borders of the Sales process, the configuration data is used throughout the total organization.
- Organize and update the Sales prices (list prices) in SAP-SOH.
- Train and support sales colleagues in the use of SAP (E.g. In the area of quotations, orders and often related to the Sales Configuration Models).
- Analyze data both in in the area of supply chain and quotations/orders, by collecting the data from different sources.
- Keep the work instructions related to configuration up to date.
- Support in the set-up of new configuration models (E.g. SAP CPQ).
Your profile and qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a technical or financial university degree or HBO degree with proven experience. He/she must have a profound understanding of sales processes and the impact on the rest of the organization, specifically in an industrial machine engineering and manufacturing environment. Knowledge of VFFS and lollipop equipment is preferred and there must be an affinity with financial processes and technical solutions as well as experience in configuration models. Furthermore the following skills and competencies are in place:
- English (proficient), preferably local language (fluent).
