Reporting in to the CCO, the Brand Marketing Director will be responsible for brand direction, strategy and execution across THG’s Nutrition brand portfolio. You will lead the brand marketing agenda across the Myprotein, Myvegan, Myvitamins, Exante and Ideafit brands. The role will be based at our Manchester HQ, with the option for 2 days per week flexible working.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for leading a team of brand, and product managers spanning multiple nutrition brands.
- Full analysis of the nutrition space to identify upcoming trends and major growth opportunities.
- Working cross-functionally to build a comprehensive strategy across multiple brands and markets, including clothing.
- Working with the influencer team, to ensure influencers, ambassadors and athletes are a key consideration to our approach.
- Translating the strategy into annual execution plans to be rolled out across the division.
- Direct insights projects to drive a consumer-centric approach to decision-making.
- Track key brand health metrics across multiple markets and adjust the marketing plans as necessary.
- Work closely with THGs in-house creative team, ensuring they are evolving their structures to deliver long-term brand growth as well as remaining flexible to achieve quick-wins.
- Work closely with the NPD team to build a 3-year NPD pipeline based on key growth platforms identified in the brand strategy.
- Evaluate product ranges and identify key products to achieve commercial and brand objectives.
- Work with the partnerships team to agree and engage with credible, relevant partners on a global scale.
- Evaluate key marketing channels and platforms, the opportunity they offer and the way they should be utilise to balance commercial objectives with long-term brand building.
- Constant evaluation and reappraisal of marketing tools.
- Support regional teams in achieving their commercial objectives through engaging campaigns which build brand equity while also driving sales.
- Support in setting and tracking KPIs across products, channels and markets.
- Responsible for building a team of industry-leading talent and establishing a structure which will drive efficiency, consistency and performance.
Requirements
- Degree educated (preferred).
- Minimum 6+ Years in brand marketing with a proven track record of building brands and delivering commercial success.
- Experience in leading brand strategy for a consumer goods brand.
- Experience of developing brand tracking, reach methodology and reporting.
- Experience managing large marketing budgets.
- A strong leader and excellent line manager, you will be adept at building high performing teams where all individuals feel inspired to contribute and meet their potential but are also able to challenge.
- A creative and innovative problem solver.
- Experience working with digital marketing channels and a deep understanding of established and emerging digital platforms and the tools they offer.
- A person who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and get involved in the detail.
