The Associate Warehouse Manager directs all activities required to achieve all business goals, including retail & warehouse objectives, human resource management, payroll & operating expenses, loss prevention, facility GMP, inventory management and E-Comm fulfillment. The Associate Warehouse Manager oversees the day-to-day execution of the Atlanta Support Center operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain warehouse operations.
- Oversee the retail merchandise replenishment and shipment to the World of Coca-Cola store and attraction.
- Oversee fulfillment of E-comm, CokeStore.com orders, and returns.
- Oversee warehouse using Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Oversee fleet operations of company vehicles to include inspections, service schedule and maintenance and insurance.
- Effectively communicate with internal customers on matters that affect their business.
- Accurately utilize the KWI system and other tools to produce work results.
- Must be able to communicate across various functions of the business.
- Assist in the investigation and identification of root causes of any facility safety or security incident or environmental regulation non-compliance to prevent reoccurrence.
- Oversee cycle counting and inventory accuracy using inventory system reports, inventory location software and count sheets to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support the Warehouse Manager to identify costs, process improvements and operating efficiencies in supplier processes and others to generate cost savings for the Company.
- Give direction to and manager others by offering approaches to be used and following up to ensure timely and quality execution against expectations.
- Oversee execution of standards/specifications for quality, delivery time, store replenishment and lead-time for orders to support customer-focused initiatives.
Technical Skills:
- Inventory Management: Knowledge of asset management procedures, policies and information used to optimize inventory levels and/or fill rates (Ex. Balance inventory levels against inventory carrying costs).
- Logistics Management: Basic knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network designs, transportation management and warehouse management best practices.
- Customer and Guest Focus: Making customers (internal and external) and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships; creating and executing plans and solutions in collaboration with the customer.
- Warehouse Processes: Knowledge of warehouse and stockroom processes and procedures (Ex. Product flow, storage requirements, etc.) necessary for effective warehousing and replenishment.
- Labor Management: Proven ability to manage labor budgets, labor management and scheduling systems, seasonal workforce, and staff recruitment; Understanding of human resources and team leadership practices and principles.
- Facility Safety: Cultivate safe environment and deploy proper procedures and processes to ensure safety is first. Vehicle and forklift safety to Company and OSHA standards.
Physical Demands:
- Able to walk and stand for prolonged periods up to 8 hours.
- Able to climb ladders and step ladders.
- Able to key on computer for extended periods, 4 – 6 hours.
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling 50 lbs. objects frequently; this includes lifting from one level to another level.
- Frequent bending and kneeling.
- Able to climb sets of stairs.
Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 3 years warehouse, Retail stockroom or inventory control experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 2 years people management experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Must be able to pass an MVR, drug screen and criminal background check.
