Key Responsibilities
Day to Day Operations
- Manage and Oversee Daily External W/H Operations to fulfil customer demand on time
- Ensure to meet requirements on warehouse management such as the right storage location for each material, temperature control, GMP, Housekeeping and Safety etc.
- Ensure daily activities of receiving of Beverage Base and Ingredients and delivery process are performed according to quality procedure
- Ensure to meet customer requirements on delivery lead time, correct shipment, customer complaint handling etc.
- RCA and Redressal of Customer Complaints
- Ensure adherence to The Coca- Cola Quality System requirements specific to work area.
- Generation of MIS reports on warehouse performance and efficiencies along with Service Provider
- Lead continuous improvement programs in warehouse on productivity, quality and safety
- Best Practice Implementation for Improvement
- Oversee and manage transition from External Warehouse to own plant and new location
Adherence to the Confidentiality, Safety, Security, Environment, Regulatory practices
- Ensure the policies and procedures are followed during work with regards to safety, security, regulatory and confidentiality and thus maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure the working conditions are safe and without any risk to the health and injury of the associates
- Drive Accident Free Safety Culture through demonstrated leadership
- Report & respond appropriately to any situation as soon as it becomes unsafe or unhealthy.
Inventory Management
- Monthly Cycle count process and accountability, 100% count for A/B/C class as per decided frequency, Inventory Accuracy and monthly reconciliation at External Warehouse
- Maintenance of Inventory related processes for External W/H and periodic audits for improvement
- Conduct RCA and CAPA for PDR’s, Inventory related Issues, shipping complains & Mismatches at External Warehouse
Work Allocation and Monitoring
- Set clear, business oriented objectives and priorities that are focused at delivering result for all levels with the External Service Provider
- Monitor Performance of External Service Provider against KPI’s and monthly review
- Facilitate and support External Warehouse team members to fully utilize their potential and achieve all expected results
- Coaching of team members and follow fair and consistent treatment to all associates
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate in any stream with professional qualifications in Operations, Materials, Warehousing, Supply Chain Management preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years managing Logistics/Warehouse function in a reputed organization. Food, Logistics and Distribution companies experience will be an advantage.
- Hands on Knowledge of SAP in MM, Warehousing. Experience of WMRF will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and Power point
