DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER
We are looking for a Junior Process Engineer apprentice, starting in September 2025.
You will join two distinct teams to gain a comprehensive vision of the profession. First, our Center of Expertise team, for an approach to process standardization and continuous performance improvement. Then, our Process and Project Engineering team, concerning the sizing and design of technical solutions adapted to customer needs. You may also be required to intervene occasionally on international missions on customer sites to observe the implementation of solutions and refine your global vision and understanding of industrial issues.
Your missions:
Creation of standard processes – From sizing to start-up:
- Understand the profession and the specificities of powders to understand the technical challenges
- Analyze the operation of existing processes and identify the constraints of operators in production
- Define the technical parameters to ensure optimal operation of the equipment
Documentation – Structure and formalize process methodologies
- Develop technical rules and recommendations to standardize best practices
- Structure procedures in a clear and understandable manner for all project stakeholders
- Ensure the viability of the standards implemented by exchanging with the field teams
Risk analysis – Securing and making processes more reliable
- Identify potential risks related to facilities and operations
- Evaluate their impact based on performance, quality and safety criteria
- Optimize technical choices to limit these risks and improve the adaptation of solutions
Continuous improvement – Optimizing process performance
- Collect, monitor and analyze field data to detect areas for optimization
- Implement a continuous improvement cycle (PDCA) to make installations and processes more reliable
- Propose technical or organizational adjustments to maximize the efficiency of systems
- Establish monitoring of materials, projects and solutions
Sizing and design – Defining solutions adapted to needs
- Understand the customer’s needs and project constraints to establish a realistic solution
- Carry out sizing calculations (flow rates, pressure, power) and check their feasibility.
- Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each option and anticipate the associated risks by proposing alternative solutions
- Optimize technical choices while taking into account costs and deadlines
- Develop a clear action plan and propose alternatives if necessary
Communication and collaboration – Being a technical relay on projects
- Provide support to pre-project, project and start-up teams.
- Ensure regular reporting to monitor the progress of analyses and proposed solutions
- Actively participate in project meetings and contribute to technical decision-making
Other missions and projects may be offered to you depending on the activity, your expectations and your affinities!
