In this role you will help drive transformational excellence in logistics operations across all markets of Unilever, exploiting and optimizing Unilever’s use of design and operation to improve customer service, cost and carbon footprint.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Drive global logistics performance on Cost per ton reduction of ~3% with proactive market engagement on preparation and execution of monthly insight calls across all BUs (Business Units)
- Step up Deliver Savings performance through active tracking on Transformation programs, Processes and Operations and driving Continuous performance improvement ensuring atleast 30% savings coverage from transformational projects.
- Lead community of practice for improvement processes across Business Groups and Global logistics capability tools with benchmarking across markets and Standardized Deep Dive.
- Organize and participate in global logistics F4G workshops for Business Units. Active engagement in preparation of Global logistics Fuel for growth Workshop annually with outcome of atleast 90% in year coverage having robust savings funnel.
- Prioritize projects and initiatives that offer significant value generation opportunities for Foods BG. Analyze potential benefits and ensure that the strategic plan aligns with the overall business objectives and market trends
- Work closely with Global Logistics capability Pillar Leads and support BUs in deployment. Actively contribute to value generation with engagements on global projects like Network, Digital Commerce, Direct Dispatch, Design to Distribute, and Data Foundation across all markets.
- Partnership with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective execution of the strategic plan. Facilitate regular meetings and updates to track progress and address any challenges.
- support in developing a comprehensive 3-year horizon plan that outlines the strategic initiatives and milestones for the Foods BG. This plan should include short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals, with a focus on sustainable growth and value generation.
- Utilize data and analytics to support strategic decision-making. Monitor key metrics and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the strategic initiatives and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, strategic planning, and market engagement.
