We are looking for an Accounting Executive who will provide accurate information for financial reporting and have a good understanding of processes within own area of responsibility. They will work independently within established procedures and practices.
What you will do
As an Accounting Executive, you will:
– Perform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
– Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements, prepare ad hoc information: Independently take discussions with external/internal stakeholders.
– Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
– Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers.
– Drive process improvements and functional KPIs.
– Independently take discussions about standard issues with external/internal stakeholders.
– Be involved in payment, bank reconciliation and financial reporting activities.

– Proven relevant accounting experience over 2+ years from a similar role.

– A high attention to detail.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
– A collaborative approach when working in teams & embrace diversity.
– An engaging approach and can effectively engage with multiple stakeholders.
– University degree (Bachelor) or equivalent in Accounting.
– CA ANZ / CPA qualification.
