The Amazon Account Manager plays a key role in developing our marketplace sales and strategies. This role places an emphasis on account management, planning, execution of key initiatives, digital shelf optimization and ensuring brand consistency in order to achieve our sales goals. This is a multi brand role and requires a good understanding of how Amazon UK operates, therefore it is essential that you are a specialist in this field.
You will report into the UK Sales Director.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Amazon multi brand account.
- Manage the 3rd party relationship for THG brands, ensure margin contribution is maximized.
- Each brand shop is a duplication of the brands digital shelf
- Review of metrics. Striving to deliver the best results
- Work with Brand, Digital and Marketing stakeholders to identify key opportunities to build and grow the businesses.
- Develop new programs and content through merchandising, product assortment, customer acquisition and digital marketing – and continue to test, learn and refine based on results.
- Stay abreast of the ever-changing digital and ecommerce space, and contribute new ideas towards sales growth.
- Audit marketplace partner sites quarterly to ensure brand is presented correctly and make content and merchandising recommendations as needed.
- Schedule and lead monthly calls with Amazon Vendor Mgr to review KPIs and provide recommendations for promotional calendar planning and activities.
- Collaborate with the Amazon US and Europe teams to ensure global brand consistency
Work with Supply Chain to forecast inventory needs, shipping requirements, change orders, chargebacks and ensure POs are processed timely. - Work with Finance to ensure invoices are issued for payment.
- Manage the advertising portal for all THG beauty brands working closely with our Amazon Advertising Manager and our internal Paid Media team to develop a strategy for the brands in terms of running advertising campaigns tailored to each brand in line with our brands marketing calendars
- Track Monday replenishment orders and forward orders (bulk buys) working with Operations teams to ensure these get raised and processed in a timely manner to Amazon’s specific requirements
- Ensure all new product launches are briefed into Amazon via new line forms ahead of their launch date and stock has been forecasted with supply accordingly
- Work with Marketing, Creative, and Digital teams to develop creative assets needed and business case/ROI for any promotional programs.
- Manage monthly/ quarterly / half year forecasts
- Prepare for the annual budget review / planning process.

Requirements
- Experience managing retail accounts and driving growth in digital marketplaces, specifically Amazon
- Understanding of website metrics with an aptitude for data-driven recommendations.
- Exceptional collaboration, influencing, relationship building and facilitation skills.
- Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and work independently with a focus on delivering results.
