ITC Ltd has announced the acquisition of 100% share capital of Sresta Natural Bioproducts Pvt Ltd (SNBPL)—the company behind the ‘24 Mantra Organic’ brand—for a consideration of up to ₹472.50 crore on a cash-free, debt-free basis. The deal comprises ₹400 crore payable upfront at closing and up to ₹72.50 crore payable over the following 24 months, and is expected to close in Q1 FY26.

The acquisition of 24 Mantra Organic Brand marks a strategic move by ITC to strengthen its footprint in the organic packaged foods sector, both domestically and internationally. SNBPL’s wide-ranging portfolio includes over 100 organic products, such as grocery staples, edible oils, spices, condiments, and beverages—all under the 24 Mantra Organic brand.

Raj Seelam, the founder of 24 Mantra Organic, will assist with the transition and continue to be associated with the business for the next two years.

Highlighting the brand’s credibility and core strengths, Hemant Malik, Wholetime Director at ITC, stated, “We are excited to have 24 Mantra Organic as part of ITC’s Foods Business’s portfolio of nutrition-led healthy foods products. 24 Mantra Organic has built a robust backend and sourcing network, which is core to its trusted organic products portfolio. Aligning with national priorities, we are confident that 24 Mantra Organic will fortify ITC’s presence and market standing in the high-growth organic products space, in both Indian and overseas markets.”

ITC emphasized that the investment will unlock value creation opportunities by leveraging its institutional capabilities across sourcing, supply chain, distribution, product innovation, and manufacturing. The move is aligned with its ‘ITC Next’ strategy to build a portfolio of future-ready, consumer-centric brands.

India’s organic market, pegged at ₹10,000 crore (including exports), continues to grow with strong government support and evolving consumer demand. With its farm-to-fork traceability model and network of over 27,500 farmers cultivating across 1.4 lakh acres in 10 states, 24 Mantra Organic is well-positioned to support ITC’s ambition to lead in the organic space.
