According to a report issued by the British Medical Journal, menstrual symptoms such as heavy bleeding, low mood, and pain may be associated with about 9 days of lost productivity per woman annually. A focus group study depicts that 84.1% women admitted the prevalence of menstrual cramps or primary dysmenorrhea during their menstrual cycles.

Periods are generally linked with mild, tolerable lower abdomen or back discomfort but the pain (dysmenorrhoea) can be acute enough to hinder with quotidian activities. The prevailing remedies in modern healthcare and allopathic medicine system elicit detrimental side effects in long term. In its attempt to deliver a more sustainable, herbal and ayurvedic remedy for menstrual cramps, HempStreet declared the release of medicinal cannabis (Bhaang) based Trailokya Vijaya Vati.

Trailokya Vijaya Vati is an Ayurvedic remedy to this ubiquitous issue. It is a time tested classic medicine, containing cannabis as one of its main ingredients and has been found to be largely efficacious in soft tissue muscle pains such as menstrual cramps and spasms. On the basis of the initial feedback study with 2,000+ Ayurveda clinicians across the nation, the medicine has been observed to be very efficient.

Shrey Jain, co-founder of HempStreet stated-“Menstruation is mostly a stigmatized issue in India. Period pain is often ignored by making an important part of women lifestyle and working hours traumatic and painful. But actually women have felt the cramping pain to be ‘almost as bad as having a heart attack.’ At an average, a woman surpasses about 450 menstrual cycles throughout her life span. Irony is that the prevailing remedies in modern medical science have risk of injurious impacts in case of long haul consumption. Trailokya Vijaya Vati focuses at offering a genuine, safe and ayurvedic solution to the women of 21st century.”
