Good Foods, a leader in better-for-you dips and guacamole, has brought on board a team of six experienced professionals from the CPG industry to drive the brand forward in its upcoming expansion stage. Among the newly appointed leaders of the customer development team are Peter Flesvig, who will serve as the Vice President of Retail Sales, and Renee Boardway, who will take on the role of Global Procurement Manager.

As the head of the retail sales team, Peter Flesvig takes charge of driving Good Foods’ ongoing growth throughout North America by overseeing the strategy and implementation of partnerships with conventional, natural, and mass retailers. With a wealth of experience in sales leadership, including positions at BetterBrand and PepsiCo, Flesvig has honed a versatile skill set encompassing marketing, communications, client service, and operations over the course of his 25-year career.

Boardway takes charge of overseeing and guiding the procurement team at Good Foods. She will closely collaborate with the Good Foods team located in Mexico to identify areas of synergy and establish global strategies that streamline procurement processes and other business operations. Prior to joining Good Foods, Boardway served as the director of purchasing at Woodland Foods, where she gained over seven years of experience developing strategies, assessing risks, managing supplier performance and inventory, and achieving cost savings.

Following remarkable double-digit growth and boasting a robust innovation pipeline in 2022, Good Foods has expanded its team under the leadership of Matthew Newman, the Senior Vice President of Customer Development. The addition of four new positions aims to sustain the company’s positive momentum and drive even greater achievements in 2023 and the future. These roles include:

  • Melissa Dabrowski, Consumer Insights and Strategy Manager
  • Neala Aaron, Foodservice National Account Manager
  • Kalen Statz, National Account Manager for Club Sales
