Fratelli Wines announces for the first time since the brand’s creation a new avatar for its range of single varietal wines.

A literal representation of Fratelli, which means ‘brothers’ in Italian. The new labels for the brand’s single wine line feature stylized illustrations of family portraits of the Fratelli brothers . Secci brothers from Italy, Sekhri and MohitePatil brothers from India – all tied up in a wine glass.

The single varietal wine portfolio of Fratelli Wines consists of 10 different variants, which are as follows:

  1.   Merlot
  2. Sangiovese
  3. Cabernet Sauvignon
  4. Cabernet FrancShiraz
  5. Shiraz
  6. Chardonnay
  7. Sangiovese Bianco
  8. Sauvignon Blanc
  9. Chennin Blanc
  10. Shiraz Rosé

The new visual identity was imagined by the late Kapil Sekhri, who was also one of the seven founders of the Fratelli family. Through this redesign and new perspective, the Fratelli wines as a brand wants to share the shared love story, passion and dream of the three families at the heart of the brand.

With a bright color palette and a changed silhouette in the shape of the bottle, the new label design of Fratelli wines also aims to attract more new wine enthusiasts.

The range features striking new key elements such as gold foil typography along with abstract portraits of the Fratelli family of the seven founding brothers in a unique and memorable illustration style.

Speaking about the new brand identity, Gaurav Sekhri, partner and director – Fratelli Wines, said, “The new label is an homage to our brother and reinforces our brand ethos and values. Brought together by love and driven forward by passion, Fratelli is symbolic of a vision manifested by three families who aspired to tell stories through the art of winemaking and we hope to continue providing the finest and the most prominent home-grown range of wines to our customers.”

Puja Sekhri, marketing head, Fratelli Wines, said, “We are excited for our patrons to experience this new and fresh identity of our single varietal range of wines that was envisioned by Kapil. We hope that this will help us successfully continue down the path to achieve our goals and carry forward Kapil’s dream of revolutionizing Indian-origin wines and taking them to new heights, both nationally and internationally.”
