Five Star, Charoen Pokphand Foods brand, started in 1985 in Thailand is on a key expansion drive in India. The quick-service restaurant (QSR) is unveiling its 10th in North India marking the total number at 635th throughout India.
The brand targets to set up up a vast chain of neighbourhood stores offering the superior quality fried chicken via Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) model. This is a depiction of the brand’s promise to be the go-to restaurant for the Indian customer at an economical price point. The new store has been inaugurated at Sector 16-B in Greater Noida.
The team is making continuous efforts at understanding the demographics, taste palates and people’s choices across various regions of India. With this, the brand has made many more additions to the menu of the stores functional in North India.
Talking about the launch, Kasinn Khaowprasert, director of CP Avant stated- “After testing waters in South India and successfully setting up a chain of 625 stores, Five Star is all set to take over the Northern belt. The launch of the 10th store in Greater Noida, NCR is a part of our goal of touching a mark of 500 stores by 2025 in the Northern Regions of India.”
The brand manages end-to-end system of the supply chain right from the farm and processing units to distribution in outlets resulting in best quality and cost-efficient food – making it a true ‘Farm-To-Fork’ QSR chain. All of the products are completely free of antibiotics as the flow of food – right from hatching of eggs.
The brand relies upon its already proven model of enabling franchise owners with the respective factors such as Lowest Investment, Speedy Payback, Easy Management and Standardized products.
Following the launch in Greater Noida, the brand next move will be to expand more by opening additional restaurants in J&K, Punjab, Rajasthan, etc., including NCR regions.
