ELGi Compressors Europe, a subsidiary of Elgi Equipments Limited, notified that Fasolex, Poland’s leading bean sorter installed an ELGi compressed air system to power the bean sorting line at their new plant in Sahryn, Poland. The compressed-air-powered sorting line eliminates defective beans and ensures the best possible food quality.

It offered the company with a turnkey solution including an EG18 VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and an EG22 compressor, and was also accountable for the set up and installation of the entire compressor room including the refrigeration dryer, buffertank, oil-water separator and ventilation.

Andrzej Jasiak, owne of Fasolex stated-“For about 30 years we have been processing, sorting and preparing beans with an emphasis on quality. We selected ELGi as our partner for our growth plans owing to their ability to deliver us with a complete turnkey solution, providing the required robustness of the compressor while enhancing efficiency and reliability and cutting down operational costs. We are relying on the compressed air system to meet our high standards for quality and to serve the growing European demand. The solution offered by ELGi has given us tension-free comfort, enabling us to focus on delivering the premium quality product to our customers.”

Arkadiusz Wrzyszcz, regional manager – Eastern Europe at ELGi, declared- “At ELGi our definition of Always Better is closely paired with us always being the customer’s choice. With more than 60 years of experience and innovation, we pride ourselves on satisfying our customers’ needs with holistic, state-of-the-art compressed air solutions. Our world class products have one of the best life cycle costs, industry-leading uptime and we have reaffirmed our commitment to reliability by granting firm warranty plans to the customers.”

The sturdy design of the EG Series compressor range permits operations to happen even at extreme temperatures – from cold to hot and from dry to extremely humid conditions, leading overall to an increased reliability of the compressed air system. The company’s high efficacy airends are equipped with in-house developed profile rotors, with the 4/5 lobe combination, manufactured to run at low rotor speeds. This uncommon design decreases pressure losses and together with the OSBIC (Oil separation by impact and centrifugal action), 3-stage separation offers best-in-class energy efficiency.

Thanks to low operating speeds further enhanced by the operational Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), the compressor can adapt to the alteration in demand, and optimize the air flow saving energy costs. These EG compressors run very silently, which permitted the company to run the compressor close to the sorting line and their employees.
