Global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, Brenntag and American global food corporation Cargill, Inc. have recently entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for EpiCor postbiotic. The agreement covers most parts of Europe including UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, BeNeLux, the DACH region, CEE including Baltics and Ukraine, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

EpiCor is a postbiotic ingredient derived from the proprietary fermentation of baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). The end result is a nutritious whole food with metabolites including proteins, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and polyphenols, fibres and polysaccharides and other nutrients.
EpiCor also meets to the newly released consensus definition of a postbiotic, as put forth by the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP). EpiCor is a preparation of inanimate microorganisms and components that may support immune and gut health functions, as substantiated in over a dozen published studies.
