European dairy cooperative Arla Foods is expanding its portfolio as it has signed a licensing agreement with snacks company Mondelēz International to produce, distribute, and market chocolate milk under the Milka brand in Germany, Austria, and Poland
Arla Foods is expanding its product range, with the addition of one of the most beloved chocolate brands around. Utilizing the strong brand recognition and consumer trust of Milka, Arla Foods will leverage its expertise in dairy innovation and quality and secure growth in the very mature chocolate milk category.

Unveiling Milka chocolate milk
The Milka brand, owned by Mondelēz International, is one of the most prominent chocolate brands in Europe, and successful licensing partnerships in categories such as ice cream, cakes, and bakery have already been established.
Following suit, Arla Foods will now launch chocolate milk drinks in Germany, Austria, and Poland where Milka is one of the leading players in chocolate. And with this product innovation, consumers will now have the option of indulging in the iconic flavor in the form of chocolate milk.

The delicious delight will launch in June 2024 and come in three different pack sizes and three different flavors. They will be produced at Esbjerg Dairy in Denmark.
